Yorkshire boats

Overview

Yorkshire has more than 100 miles of coastline, plus rivers and reservoirs and an ancient canal network.

Boating on the Yorkshire canals and rivers with a physical or mental disability can present challenges, such as accessibility and boat handling.

Always check accessibility with the boat operator prior to booking.

The Canal & River Trust holds a Disabled Boater Forum every couple of months which provides information on boating with a disability and accessibility
