About us
The Wessex Hubs Mobility Advice Service offers free, bespoke advice and support to older or disabled individuals who are no longer able to, or do not want to, drive. Our aim is to provide a better understanding of public transport and alternative travel options available.
Advice is available via a face-to-face meeting, by telephone, or a video call.
We can support people in the Wessex area (Hampshire and Isle of Wight, Dorset, Wiltshire and Berkshire) with the following information:
- Accessible buses, coaches and taxis
- Community transport
- Easy access to rail and air travel
- Your rights as a disabled passenger
- Journey planning
- Information about local ShopMobility centres
Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 4.00pm.
The service is part of Wessex DriveAbility, accredited by the national charity Driving Mobility and supported by the Department for Transport.
